Lybster is delightfully placed on the south-east coast of Caithness, in the Highland region of Scotland. During the 19th century it was a major centre for fishing and its past success is reflected in the width of its main street! The small harbour is still active today, though on a much smaller scale. Rolls filled with freshly caught local crab can be enjoyed in the harbour side Waterlines Visitor Centre along with other refreshments.
